What I'm still waiting to see in the Frontier Store... $$$

I'm not entirely sure I'd pay for missions.

However, I might be willing to pay for a "story mode" expansion, which is a proper linear story(or stories), separate from the main game, heck, it can be dramatised stories of some of the lore, and historic events in ED.

i clicked on this thread hopeing to hear about some cool new ship skins and instead i lost iq points and i feel ripped off ,

-$- Cockpit customization: I'm not talking about those kitsch bubble-head and xmas light. I'm talking about real objects: bags, tools, personal notes, badges from expeditions, hutton mug... that I can place around the cabin and customized cabin interior colors. I imagine my ship and when I look around I can see my personal notes like names of sectors that I want to explore, the list of scoopable stars, the count of destroyed ships, I could also place my hutton mug next to me, a toolbox on the floor, a picture on the bulkhead and so on...

You're asking the wrong game. Now that is a developer who can do no wrong has not done wrong to their players :) I've 100% cleared out their dlcs of the one im playing anyway (i hate the kbm handling of the european trucks).

1. Mamba Shipkit
2. Ability to change the color of running lights and headlights on the ship. (Imagine an imperial courier but with red trim lights rather than blue)

But I will get very grumpy indeed if they're developing actual material content and locking it off behind another paywall on top of the season passes, or whatever FDev calls theirs.

grumpy money is still money, thanks :)

good morning, y'all!

oh, and, you guys promoting the shop while frontier wipes their rear with bug reports, you got what you deserve.

Its not a good idea to have any loose objects lying around your flight deck. That toolbox just turned into a 20lb dead blow hammer to the back of your head when you pulled that emergency stop on a planet with gravity.

Even then your mechanic is gonna hate you when they have to fix all the impact damage you caused becuse you failed to secure your tools correctly.

It is indeed. And it's still in my pocket because I tend not to spend money on things that make me grumpy.

smart grumpy sort of way, then :)

no, well, regarding the previous point, the size of 'transactions' shouldn't be a concern per se, it doesn't have to be a slot machine. same for 'paid-for content', doesn't need to be a power up, there would be nothing wrong with optional dlc 'storylines'. my argument is not about the transactions, even if they were overpriced, or very fragmented ... customers could always choose. i was grumpying about the underlying game and its sorry state, it's another kind of grumpiness. but i'm feeling better now!

Lol have you looked around in the krait mk2 cabin? Anyway toolboxes should be able to be secured in the cabin

We'll never have these anyway in the game so a pay content gives you the freedom to choose to buy or not. If you don't like it you don't buy it. As simple as that.
It was already suggested in the past that additional scenario could've been a new form of microtransaction to promote handcrafted elements that might improve game depth or personal narrative
No, unless these are 20+ hours of guided story content with fully voice acted cut scenes and Hollywood style cinematics for around $15 and were released as expansions, quarterly at most, I'd say this is still a horrible idea. There is no way the majority of players would pay for a some new missions to show up on the mission board that are just different from the ones you get in the standard game. You know damn well that's what we'd get. FDev wouldn't make some elaborate, high quality single player campaign properly because it doesn't fit the essence of the game and would likely be too costly to implement for a benefit to be realized.

This stays your personal opinion.. You can't say what majority of players want because only fdev got the numbers to tell
