Guardian Site at Synuefe EN-H d11-96 7 A question

So I was in a wing with a friend of mine and we powered the pylons and when we dropped the relic at the light on the ground nothing happened. Was this just a bugged instance because we were in a wing or is there something other than the relic we need to drop? I did some googling about this and everything I've read just says "drop the relic at the light on the ground close to the main terminal."

Yes, if you want to unlock all the Guardian SLF you need 3 Ancient Relics.
And a quite discouraging amount of Guardian Epsilon Patterns.

Data is easier to farm from Ruins - I use GR1 - sit between G/T 16/18 and scan away. Sadly that does need relogs
