My first go to ship. With recent (well, last year) update to modules and guardian tech - absolute beast in terms of range. In that price bracket.
Sadly I like my Krait more so I don't use DBX atm. But one day...

Just wait an other 2-3 updates and the added modules slots added for some new required modules will increase the cargo space to 1000 units in the DBX ;)

The DBX is one of the nicest ships in the game. Just a bit more agile and a bit faster and it would be perfect.

It is nice, it is the ship I did my first proper exploration trip with. However, I replaced it later with another exploration ship that is much better at getting front of things.

Have to agree about the DBX, I often use one for Fuel Rat rescues, the most memorable of which was one last year where I went from Colonia to a system 19 KLYs beyond there. It was before I had tried neutron jumping and I went the whole way doing 'normal' jumps - just as well as there was no room for an AMFU anyway! The fuel scoop was a bit limiting, but I tried to skim every star as I passed, and only stopped to fill up completely if the fuel got a bit low. One of my proudest moments in Elite, that I'll never forget. :D

I never liked the DBX in the past, always found it underwhelming. With the two additional slots it has now become a workhorse taxi for me. For sure the limited fuel scooping is a bit of a pain still and it looks really ugly / insectoid but it is very effective now. (Ye dinna look at the mantelpiece when poking the fire Jimmy!)

It was Stealthie.. The dbx is so darn agile and 38 ly range and I've only added two mods. It feels like I'm in a go kart with a fireblade engine. It looks awesome it handles great it blasts through the jumps in no time.what a great ship. I'm tempted to sell my python now and have a very healthy bank balance to mod the hell out of it. I did my first ever mining last night. I've done my first cargo scoop and I'm off to find a nice ice ring somewhere where no one has been before and very my bank balance up to mega amounts. I want to buy the entire fleet of ships.
