Ships Viper Mk III Landing Gear in my Cockpit

I've owned and loved the Viper III since my early days in the game, and TODAY is the first time I noticed "something" coming up through the floor when the landing gear is extended. Is this a new bug, or am I not very observant? I don't fly the V3 all the time, so "new" is any time in the last few months. Are there any other ships that suffer from this?

ps - Frontier, if you would please fix this, that would be swell :D
