I know a lot of you have been waiting for an update for quite some time now and it wasn't fair to be left in the dark for this long and I apologize for that.
I've already explained on my Discord that the series was halted because of a major burnout which was followed by financial issues and other private challenges I had to deal with.
I have been in therapy for about 20 months and in rehab since November 2019 because of those issues. Rehab has ended recently and I'm feeling better and ready to start a normal life again.
While the art of film-making has always been a huge part of my life both privately and occupationally, I decided to no longer proceed to find a career in this profession, as I am not build for this kind of work-environment, stress and dedication that it entails.
I truly loved working on this series in particular and re-watched a lot of episodes with tears in my eyes because I wish I had the same spark in me right now, that made me create this series with Zach in the first place. But due to all I have been through, and the scars this type of work left on me, I can't find the strength to pick up a major project like this again.
The series has therefore ended with Episode 28, and while it isn't a great- nor a happy ending, it's left to everyone's imagination of what happened to Zech and David since then.
I don't know if this is the last thing I ever upload on my channel or if I someday gain another spark of inspiration to continue - but I don't want to give anyone the false hope that it will.
I want to thank all of you who have been following this series and were supportive through all this time, especially my Patrons.
But I also want to thank Zachary, who has been the best companion I could've had hoped to find for this series and who has been a true and loyal friend for all this time. I have never met someone putting so much love and dedication into anything comparable and he never failed to make me laugh in any of the countless recording sessions we had.
At last, I want to thank Stephen Wyckoff, who has been one of the most loyal fans I had. He not only supported me financially, but also supported me with kind words throughout the years and lent me his and his wife's voice for some of the videos in which they played David's parents.
You all were an amazing community and I hope you all do well in these troubling times.
