Re: Selling slaves

I read on here that if you accept slave missions, abandon the Misson and sell the slaves you can make millions QuickTime doing this. Does that sound right... I will try tonight and see just wanted to hear your opinions

Ranking up in anarchy factions where imperial slaves are illegal seems to throw these up sometimes. I'm not sure if these missions appear often enough for this to be a good money maker though.

I'm usually based in anarchy systems and I've never seen such a mission, but even if they exist, I doubt that this is a good way to make money. Slaves won't sell much better than they normally do and the minor faction will put a bounty on your head if you sell mission cargo. There are better ways to make money illegally. Take what you can...give nothing back!

This.
I'm sure there's people here who can help obtain void opals out of T9s. Might as well make real money if you're going to annoy a minor faction.

where is the bestest place to get the low temperature diamonds.. my python is rigged for mining now and for the first time ive actually used my cargo scoop lol..

I've linked the guide in the post you quoted. Agricultural systems in boom. If you're not ready to fight the authorities, search for agricultural anarchies in boom, but some opposition makes it a lot more enjoyable.

Not anymore, at least, not as effectively.

FD changed it so you can't sell stolen goods at the same station you got them, last i heard. So you need to change stations, which is the big timesink which is better spent just doing something like VO mining.

Not just that, but also a fine in credits same as profit from selling them at black market in another system...(it was back in 2016 the famous Robigo glitch)

I'll hijack this thread: what happens if I fail a passenger mission given by the controlling faction?

You must return to the station to complete the mission and they get off. Occasionally you might get a 'give your passengers to us for profit' side mission wrinkle.

Nah. I just throw them out through the airlock. I don't like it when someone complains about my driving and damage taken. 😈
I want to know how that kind of actions influences the BGS and the controlling faction.

Failed missions (i.e. the passenger is irate and says I want out) = INF drop (and rep drop).

Abandoned missions is rep drop but no INF drop.

Ahhhhhh those are wonderful news indeed!
Just to make sure if I got it right: I can get REP with the controlling faction in the neighbouring system by doing REP missions for them there, and then drop their INF in my targeted system by making their passengers very irritated? How wonderful!

Wherever you take the passenger missions from (just like any missions) if you fail them via timeout or bsah them against a wall (and they say fail and not abandon them) that faction will lose INF in that system.

So if you went to Cubeo, took and failed passenger missions there and failed them, that faction in Cubeo would suffer.

Are there other ways to plummet their INF besides selling on the black market?
Thank you for help, much obliged!

Failing missions is a good way to hurt a faction, black markets as well (but not anarchist factions as they gain INF). Murder is good in all its glorious forms (if they are in charge kill sec ships or faction ships from outside that system, if not target that factions ships only and let rip).
