Stuck in Frame Shift Mode (Count down to 0 then all controls stop) PC

I am having an issue that some have had but they have been able to correct.
Everything works fine until I go to frameshift then it counts down to 0, everything engages but it does not go anywhere. The counter stays on screen.
I have tried every fix on the internet, Reinstalling the game, changing IPV, opening ports, verify files, I have tried every searchable fix for this and nothing works.
I went to my buddies house yesterday that also plays and his account worked fine. We logged into mine and FSD is stuck. Loggged back into his account and everything works fine. What the heck? This leads me to believe that its server side. I have opened a ticket with support but so far crickets............ Very Discouraging

I was an original donor and I have never had an issue but this one is a game killer. Anyone have anything else i can try? Customer service i guess has not had the time to check my ticket or respond at all. below is the screen.....same as a lot of people have had but NO FIX i can find has worked.

I might also add that this started when my buddy and I were in a Group. I was mining. I Self destructed my ship after about 4 hours of working on this hoping that would help but it did not. Claimed insurance got back in the ship and still had the same issue.
 
Someone else recently indicated that they had this problem once and a support ticket resolved the issue:
I had the same issue ovee a year ago. Everytime I tried to jump, my game crashed. It happened on my desktop and laptop.

I contacted support and they flew my ship to another system. That fixed it all.

Another person had the issue and their resolution was to install the standalone client downloaded from frontier (the problem was occurring on a steam install).
The account in question was a non steam standalone version of elite. I was playing on computers that also had a steam version of elite installed as well, I installed the stand alone non steam elite on an old laptop with no games installed and i was able to jump from that pc and this also fixed my issue of jumping on the other pcs as well.. thanks to everyone who contributed.

ok thanks, so that gives me hope. I have the stand alone version as well. I guess at this time it will be hurry up and wait from ED Support.

There was a third person who started a different thread about the problem as well, just a few days ago. I never noticed that they returned to the thread to post about a resolution, but it did stop getting new posts after about a day (suggesting support resolved their issue and they moved on).

well its been 15 hours since i dropped the ticket .... not having much hope it will get resolved any time soon.

I had a support ticket just last weekend and it got resolved about 20 hours after I submitted, hopefully you won't have to wait too much longer.
 
Currently having the exact same issue and waiting on a ticket response.


Well they sent me a message about two hours ago asking for a net log. I sent it back to them and no response.. I have over 100 dollars tied up in this game. 75 pledge and 30 for the expansion to horizons. I answered them within 13 minutes and still nothing back 2 hours later. I explained to them that my guys were going to play together this weekend but it appears they could care less at this time. Chalk this up as a loss more than likely and play something else. i know they are a small company but come on.

I get the feeling that any reply you send them will take almost another full day to get looked at.
 
From your posts here and a very similar one I read on FB it sounds like you could use a short break away from the game Cmdr.

By all accounts the bug you're suffering from already has a fix that Support can provide once they get around to it so maybe give them a chance to do so. OP was posted on a Sunday and it's a Bank holiday tomorrow to probably only a skeleton crew working.

Throwing a hissy fit online over a GAME isn't healthy. Rather than sitting at your computer spamming F5 and getting yourself worked up you could try doing something else?
 
Or you could mind your own business if you do not have a fix. Im not throwing a hissy, i have spent money on something that is fundamentally broken. Its not a brand new bug its has been around since beta and since release it appears. Im ed off because i responded to the ticket in 13 minutes from the time they contacted me. They could have explained that situation if it is indeed what is going on instead of asking for the logs and and not responding. How about 'hey we are on a short staff this weekend due to a holiday. I apologize for the inconvenience. we will get back to you tomorrow" I could have respected that. Maybe I expect more when I pay for something, like for it to actually work? Or at the very least a time line to get it fixed. Dont tell me whats healthy and whats not. Whats not healthy is butting into someone else business. We dont do that where i am from. Do you have a fix or not... if not get lost.

I went nearly 3 weeks before Xmas without Elite when I simply couldn't log in to the game, you're having an online breakdown after less than 24 hours - the period FDev ask to provide assistance.

I'm pretty sure your FB post also said you'd been playing 2 years with no major issues, so whats a day or two really when it seems there is a fix, you just need to wait your turn to get it sorted?

Welcome to the hell of Braben tunnels. This is due to their netcode and most likely won't be fixed. Aka deal with it. It has been like this since release in late 2014. No improvements so far. The servers are not capable of handling so many players and neither are some P2P instances. There is nothing much you can do about it.

They fixed it. They also returned my ship.
Glad you got it fixed and your ship rebuy refunded.

Sorry that it felt like it took so long, but honestly, I've played online games such as this where support did not work weekends and holidays, at all. I personally give them props that they appear to have it staffed 7 days a week.
