cannot login, cannot open a ticket

I've installed ED a number of times the past few weeks because it's been part of my smoke test for my flailing MacBook pro bootcamp egpu efforts (finally got it stable, yay). However I just sent it back to apple for keyboard repairs and I am attempting to login using an ED install on my desktop using my external drive I use for steam, Ubisoft, etc. Client log is showing unauthorized, however the password works (as evidenced by the fact I can post this), I'm assuming I cannot login because of so many installs/authorizations, but they've all been on the same two machines, and all for me. Just on short-lived installs due to ridiculous driver issues I'm sure you don't want to hear about. Apple doesn't support egpus on bootcamp, though it's possible, just difficult. I had looked forward to actually playing rather than just flying around making sure the GPU was working since I'm without my MBP work machine and therefore have an excuse to spend some time in space.

Not sure if this is the same problem I'm having. I'm trying to log in to my other Commander on another PC. The launcher Log in dialog doesn't appear to do anything after clicking Log in, and nor does any Verification dialog that I would expect. Not emails are received either.

I've tripple checked the credentials are correct - the are. If they weren't the log in would show "invalid credentials" in red.

I've attempted the Forgotten Password button too, and no email is received for that either. (have checked spam folders).

I have raised a support ticket for this on support.frontier.co.uk.
 
Working fine here but my login details are already saved.
Don't forget your forum account need not be the same as your store/game account so that's worth checking.
 
It would throw an invalid credential error if the login was invalid. Looking around a bit more on the client log the frontier servers are returning unauthorized, yet login is correct (my forum login is linked to the store login, btw). I did manage to open a ticket, though it was mostly apologizing for installing 5 times in a few weeks when it may turn out to just be a server issue.

This is the same behavior I’m seeing. It’s failing when then the new pc auth usually pops up.
 
I can confirm this problem. I installed the game to another computer and cannot get past login screen after giving my credentials. I have two accounts and both have same problem. The launcher dialog does not do anything.

Also, the password reset function does not work for either of the accounts. No password reset mail coming.
 
I've not logged in to the game for months and this morning thought I'd have a look around, I'm getting the same issue as above - click the Login button , nothing happens. Looking at the "client.log" it says authentication rejected - however I know the creds are correct because if I put something else (name or password) it says invalid credentials... Oh well guess I'll try again in a few more months...

I've not logged in to the game for months and this morning thought I'd have a look around, I'm getting the same issue as above - click the Login button , nothing happens.
 
I can login, but the game gets closed after a couple of minutes or even less than a minute. I can't use the issue tracker either, because the site seems to accept the Frontier Store login or route via Steam login, but after accepting the login it still acts like I'm not logged in. Every click leads again to the same login page.
 
SOLUTION : I clicked Link Account in the launcher and linked my account. I'm no longer asked to login with my credentials, so verification codes are no longer required at least for now. This allowed me to return to the game.
 
Just tried that using the account login, unfortunately still cant login

My account has been linked to my steam account since it first came on steam - I've had an elite account since the start! so linking the account isn't the solution for me. Just tried again, same result.
 
Confirming the problem! Yesterday everything was fine but today I can not get past the login screen! I enter my credentials and click login, then nothing happens. No eror codes, no e-mail verification, nothing!

PC using linked steam account, horizons!
 
FD are sending out emails saying they are having an issue with some accounts and that the Steam link will be cut. You will have to relink your Frontier account with Steam.
This might be the problem here.
 
I have just tried to reinstall the launcher, installed ok, but still the same issue when i try to login
Hope frontier are aware of this,

I am not with steam,
