We have plenty of them, Mars is an atmospheric planet so all the planets like Mars are there, you just can't land on them yet. Wait until they enable atmospheric planets.

Also think what would be epic is if space legs has some science.....go to a planet and look for signs of new life etc!!!

Everyone here hopes for Atmospheric Planets or Legs in the game. We've all been hoping since 4 years already.
Hopefully we'll see one of the 2 next year... maybe both?! or maybe none.... Oh well in this case the game will be DOOMED!!!

Yea - I watched the programme and also thought the part which showed volcanism on a planet would be awesome in Elite - huge volcanoes, exploding throwing rocks everywhere, flowing lava ...

... also solar systems forming from gas clouds - amazing!

Amazing is right. I thought the same about forming solar systems. would be epic! and add gameplay perhaps

An amazing series and well worth watching, as was his unrelated (mostly) show of the same name about the classical music suite by Holst.

So looking forward to getting dynamic phenomena in the game.

Landing on planets with atmosphere is the ONE thing that's missing in Elite, and it should be the next thing on the roadmap. Like, really really.
