Only 3 Materials end up spawning in High Grade Signal Sources. For the love of god fix it. The Material trader isn't good enough.

Sorry... I'm going to derail this for a moment...
Is this actually BGS related? Of course, someone might say "Well, states can dictate what appears in USS, so it's BGS related right?" but by that argument since BGS has effects on Powerplay, this forum should be collapsed and made part of the Powerplay subforum.
Don't get me wrong, I think you've posted in the "correct" forum in that it's the closest you'll get beyond putting it in "general discussion"... but GD's also been the dumping ground for anything to do with missions, USS etc. because there's no other real home for those sorts of topics.
Maybe a mod or something can point me in the right direction for suggesting... I dunno... a "PvE Activities" subforum which could be used for discussion about:

To be fair, I can't be certain. FDev needs to confirm it, but won't bother looking into it. However, Since the BGS ties the material to spawn to the BGS, and the BGS already doesn't work properly, I find it reasonable to assume this is also a failure of the BGS.
Or the BGS.

So you can reliably find Proto Heat Radiators, Proto Radiolic Alloys, Military Supercapacitors, Pharmaceutial Isolators, and Improvised Components?
So, for me, Proto Heat Radiators/Radiolic Alloys are generally in any HGEs that I find.
Pharmaceutical Isolators I usually grab from Mission Rewards
Improvised Components I get from "Spec Ops" missions, which target civilian Ships.
Military Supercapacitors I've never sought, but only because I've never needed them.
Been a while since I looked for Military Super Capacitors or Improvised Components, but I've found plenty of the rest recently.

The only mission rewards that I ever see are Biotech Conductors and Exquisite Focus Crystals.
I should add... "Assassinate Pirate Lord" target wreckage is also a good source of Pharmaceutical Isolators, if you aren't seeing them regularly as mission rewards.
Well all I've been able to find is g4 and 5 composites.
