There any other card games I should consider giving a go?

Tried out TESL last night and I'm quite enjoying it.

Didn't realise I'd like card games quite this much. It's a great change of pace.

Forgot to mention about Gwent, CDPR are also selling Thronebreaker which uses the card game as battlefield for a neat singleplayer campaign (and you get goodies for the online game as achievements).

Gwent is an amazing game according to all reports. Somehow they have managed to put a story into it and all.

The story ended up as a standalone paid product, but it's great and IMAO entirely worth the price if you're into that whole Witcher thing and CCGs.

Not sure if it is applicable but these are card games that I think are deceptively fun: Slay the Spire, Minion Masters

Last time I've played Gwent it wasn't exactly the same as the one in Witcher. So if you are looking at it and want the exact same rules and experience that's not it. However, it's pretty close and has the same fantastic art and aesthetic. Would definitely recommend to check it out, just keep your expectations in check :)

If you were tempted by Valve's Artifact: dont. Lost my money on that one. It's a fully RNG, pay to win mess, with a hostile and gatekeeping community.
