Warehouse Storage

If I'm in my Anaconda and I have a full cargo hold I can't switch to one of my smaller ships, this is restrictive doesn't make a lot of sense. So my suggestion is Warehouse space that could be bought or hired from a station. I could hire a 1000 units of cargo space unload my anaconda select a smaller ship at will and dip into my stored cargo when needed. Space station warehouse space would seem to be a necessity at a busy star port. what do you think?

Buy a second account in the sales. Fill up the your Anaconda with Void Opals and park it just outside a station near where the starter Sidewinder is in the new account. Transfer enough to the SW to get a Type 6 with collector limpets, fly both ships to a system where you get a good price for VOs. Park outside the station no-fire zone. Transfer the VO's to the type 6. Within an hour or so from start, you'd have a second Anaconda that you can use for storage or rescuing yourself when you run out of fuel. Don't forget to wing-up or the transferred VOs will be marked stolen.

I think that anything that requires players to "pay rent" is a non-starter because it'd mean that a player might come back to the game after an extended absence and find themselves bankrupt.

I also think that mechanics which attempt to compel people to play continuously (in order to avoid becoming bankrupt after an extended absence) are ethically undesirable.
