Wasn't there a teaser almost 12 months ago? Are they coming this year or not? I have nothing to do.
No teaser for mission pack. Just a load of speculation regarding a video file found in the games files, which has now been removed.

Ah. I remember seeing the video and heard murmurs about mission packs coming. I guess I'll continue on having nothing to do in the interim.
To be more precise, there was a bunch of differents videos in the game files titled Mission packs with various characters involved. But FDEV didn't mentionned anything about their presence in the game files. So...speculation went high as usually

Yeah as others said, it wasn't an official teaser, there were vids found in the beta files back in October. Later removed in the next update.

Could easily be a dead end that never gets used etc. Could get introduced in a future update ¯\(ツ)/¯

There were already military frameshift drives and military fuel in the files. None of this has been realized. Even the planned "Carma system" was tacitly buried.

I don't recall mission packs ever being a thing.
I know they've talked about doing various things with the interstellar initiatives, we got new scenarios along with the FSS and more has been done with wing missions - all things that can be added too over time. Mission pack though, no, don't think so..
