I don't....we are set to get an update both in the next few weeks and by the end of the year. I can totally see Fleet Carriers being ready by the end of the year. I definitely think they will need to be in place before whatever is happening in 2020 happens.

I suppose fleet carriers is good for the guildy types of players. Assuming FD make it multiplayer only like wing mates and crew however for the rest of the playwrbase I fear there will be nothing in it.

It really saddens me that at some point the NPC driven game with optional MP options filling the role changed direction and I am now fearing will never come

How can this be a hype when a promised feature of a season is at least delayed by one year? I think they already had it 95 % ready and are now trying to fill the gap towards space burps or whatever is coming in 2020.

Man, seeing as we're up and running, I'm gonna go over-hype and say: If it's December, I hope they're adding more functionality than just the jump ability etc. (Top of the wishlist being interstellar SLF & turret telepresence, for those spread out squaddies wanting to rush to defence if a raid comes in. And like your classic 'buy the raddest SLFs/turrets for your Carrier', naturally )
