ability to only view systems you can reach?

I'd like to have a filter in the galaxy map that would only show you systems that are in range of your ship with the option to show ones you can reach by fuel scooping as well. Anyone else agree?

You sounds quite new. You'll find that is less useful than you think.

Plus - you can see that - hover over a system and all the ones you can just to have curved hats (I believe)

Also, just plot a route. When the route line goes from solid to dashed, that is beyond your current fuel range, and there will be a handy marker showing the last scoopable star along your route before you run out. All the symbols are there... you're just going to need to learn them.

I wish I could turn off the lines that show what systems are in range of jumping - makes my map run a lot slower. I can't find an option for it, though. The bubble is bad enough...but in those super dense areas of the black? Of man, the map is almost impossible to use sometimes.

Is there a way to deactivate the little grey lines to every system I can jump to? Thanks!

When you select a Route type the little diamond appears between the brackets. Click the same diamond again. The diamond disappears as does the lines but you still have that Route type selected.

Will definitely have to at least try it - I wouldn't have thought to try and double-tap the route selector to 'deselect'...figured it was a UI that required a selection always. Thanks for the suggestion (even if it doesn't work, lol)!

32 hours in? So you got the cutter then and it has a pretty good jump range. Plus, you can fit a decent scoop.

I jest. Somewhere there is a list of scooperble stars. K G B M types will do in the bubble. There are others.

I am wondering, if you have heard of the Fuel Rats?

Ah... a lovely craft. The Viper Mk3 was my second ship. I had such a great time in it. I felt so successful when I was finally able to buy it and A-rate it.
And these days you can even significantly increase its abilities by engineering it.
