Why are there more than one "Top 5 bounties" entries in some system's Galnet feed?

I cannot make much sense of the way there seems to be a random number of "Top 5 bounties" posts listed in stations' news feed (from 1 to 3, from what I've seen), each containing different information...
Am I missing something here? Or is it just a bug?

One is local, one is global for that superpower, and one is powerplay specific. The powerplay board lists commanders wanted by the power exploiting or controlling a system and has zero bearing on the BGS. Make sure you are looking at the right board before you angrily contact a power and accuse them of attacking you! Otherwise, powerplayers will all get together and have a good chuckle at your expense.

That also explains why the number vary from system to system, depending on said systems' superpower/powerplay alignment, or lack thereof.

One more thing, though: does it says anywhere on the board which post is releated to what (local/superpowe/powerplay)? I've been trying to make sense of that whole thing for a while now, but never noticed any such indication (that said, it's quite possibly just me being a little thick...).

It used to. I notice myself it doesn't seem to differentiate anymore in the description.

Ok, so that seems to be a bug, then.

I assume that one can distiguish them based on the order they're listed on the board? Identifying the local board should be easy even without having to leave the system to compare with another one, as the bounties' listed there should be far lower, but what about the other two?

At any rate, it all makes a lot more sense to me now, so thanks everyone.

I must say this confused me too.

Back when the bots were actively being used against the AEDC, I had a Voice Attack script that would screen shot the traffic report.
Unfortunately the number and position of items in the Gal Net menu changes a few times a day.

But I don’t think I saw multiple Top 5 Bounties listed.

The one with the highest bounties is usually the Powerplay one (10's or 100's of millions), next highest is the Superpower (Empire/Federation/Alliance) and the lowest is the local faction bounties (this one tops out at ~10k before they become Superpower bounties).

The correct labels got knocked off during a previous update but I think they're always in the same order.
