Cobra Mk 4: open it up for everyone to buy this Xmas during Special Effect Livestream

So your argument is: give access to ships people already have...that makes total sense. The whole reason people might want to give a donation is to access something they can't get- the stellar snake number four that seems so popular.

I think that he thinks people are talking about getting the Cobra Mk IV for the donation, not realizing they're talking about getting the ability to purchase the Cobra Mk IV for the donation.

It does, doesn't it.And a lot of people don't have those ships,so a easy way to get them would be welcomed by many, i'm sure.Or are you suggesting some kind of 'golden ticket' for the lucky raffle winner, which would at least retain some sort of 'exclusivity'?

Lets just rewind a bit:

This is for charity- Special Effect, and its for those people who don't have access to the CM4, and would behave just like the festive paints do in a time limited way.

The key word is charity, its not FD creaming more profit.

Are people on this forum so screwed up they'd not go for this? Personally for me it would be a great fund raiser for a good cause and stop the pay to win Hodor forehead people from conspirisising FD making more cash.
That's just emotional blackmail. For an event that does not, at this time, exist.

Let F.D. propose the same and then lets us measure, the player/owner response.

At present, this is like Dracula, proposing a new fashion, for low collars.

There's no difference between 'whinge groups' - Cobra IV whingers are the same as wireframe whingers. Why are you accepting of one and not the other?
It seems that is the game of the day.

Which proves that it is not about 'charity', because if that was the motive. Then any other fresh ideas, would have been welcomed.

I can't also process how much value people place on the ship. Aside from its internals its a pile of old mans month old sweaty pants.

"true backers"

I hear them goose-stepping into this thread right now.
Goose-stepping? Is that how you are comparing the owners this time? You really sure about that, or do you think that may be a little extreme, even for your own, salt throwing antics?

Or they 'might' just want to give, for a good cause; not for what they will be getting in exchange, for themselves. That is the point of genuine charity.

Yes, and the wire frame paint jobs too (y) and the alpha level insurance ; everyone's a winner.:D

I expect they will return again, at least for some ships, the same as the chrome, gold and black paint jobs. They were in 2016, 2017 and 2018's Festive Countdown.
