Can’t ‘Throttle up to engage’

In fact I can’t throttle up out of the blue zone. My Orca was working okay until I let my FSD get below 45%. I’ve repaired everything back up to 100% using the AFMU. I’ve tried rebooting, I’ve tried relogging. I’ve tried powering down modules, my power plant is at 98% so don’t think it’s a power issue.
I’m transporting a famous explorer out past the galactic core for the dark wheel and the journey has been very challenging. I’m wondering if there’s something about this part of space.
I’ve found a workaround, if I drop out of supercruise then jump using boost to give me the acceleration to fire up the FSD. I’m 40 jumps from Explorers Anchorage, I hope they can fix it.

I hope it doesn’t get worse. Being stuck in deep space is not a comfortable feeling.

It’s getting worse. Now I can’t throttle up to the blue zone in super cruise.
Don’t mistreat your FSD.
Limping to Explorers Anchorage. 9 jumps

Thrusters decide when FSD can enable not the FSD itself... Max speed is set by thurster build which needs pips...
Pips to thrusters is controlled by Power distributor and pip levels...
If the Power level of the pips is wrong you won't jump... This is why boosting can over ride and enable jump as it pushes you to jump speed...

So the bug effects the power distro most likely cutting power to the thrusters not allowing jumps...

If you are using a HOTAS or joystick, can you throttle up to 100% using the keyboard? If yes, check calibration.

--edit: Sorry, missed this is on the PS4.

It’s a hotas issue. I bound 100% throttle to another key and it works.
Wishing I had a PC right now so I could configure the throttle movement range. You can only configure the 0% dead zone on the PS4. :(

The hotas throttle is just a single variable resister thats turned by the rotation of the plastic lever so its likely the plastic has worn away the grip that turns the resister on forward rotation...

I think you’re right. I’m gonna have to get a new one because playing with the DualShock is not an option for me.

Good luck
You just reminded me need to buy more Duct tape... The old tape that holds my hotas down will need replacing soon...
