Generally it ain't the PvPers that wordlessly log out on me when I interdict them with an unarmed sidewinder and eject a bunch of void opals, while demanding they turn over their "empty cargo space" in a bad pirate accent.

I don't have to do civil, it's a Sunday.
Said players, don't normally spend much time with this game. This is due to a number of reasons; most associated with their bottom lips.
They quit, and go back to playing games, they can easily cheat at.
They have to stop, because instead of throwing their teddies into the corner. They smash a part of their gaming hardware and then go running to mummy; demanding another new controller, monitor or console.
Then they come here and as you say: Blame every body else or every thing.

No, I'm saying it's telling that when posters like @Arry decided to elucidate on this subject they're quick to engage in personal insults ("Or, some are boys, with small appendages and a large inferiority complex"). I wonder if they're really just projecting.

Right I just find it odd that gankers/ganker apologists have no issues blowing people up for no reason and causing frustration, yet are real quick to play victim after reading nasty words on the forums.

Look, FDEV condones attacking CMDRs in Open Play for any reason or no reason at all. Now, you don't have to like that but you should understand it and prepare for it accordingly.
Choose the right mode for your preferred experience. If you prefer Open Play, work on your skill at flying your ship. Outfit appropriately to deal with the possible challenges you may encounter.

I'm not playing the victim. I'm saying it's preferable to blow people up for no reason, regardless of whether it causes frustration or not, because it's playing by the rules of the game.
Folks who decide to resort to nasty words on the forums because of the above behavior are the real losers here.

When I met those two, I didn't come here a complain about them. At the time, sportsmanship; had nothing to do with how they were playing the game. I mentioned them over a year later, in a thread you supported, demanding more time for you, to kill players; if they used the legitimate game exit option.

I'd say they do it because they can. It is perfectly allowed in the game and they must derive fun from it. I have to say I don't pvp often in any game but when I my pulse quickens and I get sweaty palms. It is exciting. I guess some people love that stuff.
The second reason is the game has a laughable crime and punishment system. It if were even slightly realistic, these people would be executed and that would be that. Space would be safer as it would be 'Dangerous' to be a criminal. Of course you might then have support system pop up to help such lawless types, but that would need a half decent game update from FDEV with crime as a play style choice, living outside the Pilots Federation in criminal run systems.
Now if there was such a system, a bit like the way EvE did Crime and Punishment, I would probably play in open. Simple as, as it is now, if you are not in a super engineered combat ship, or a ship that can run, you will lose.

I'm not saying playing to just make people mad doesn't happen. But you have to prove it, don't you? Famously the average Commander in this game considers any antagonizing action to be griefing. Just look at the OP.

I think greifing is pathetic. It shows low moral character, cowardice and massive immaturity. If you disagree, then fine... that's allowed too.
Here you object to menu-logging, which is specifically allowed by the rules and even given the OK by the devs in this very forum. A page or two earlier you also state that blowing up players is allowed by in-game rules, which you espouse pretty much every time you put hand to keyboard.
