So with those extra class 1 slots you can push those hull resistances fairly high, although you do need to invest in module reinforcement for at least the class 2 slot or your guns will fall off long before you eat vacuum. I'm at around 44% resistance and nearly 3k effective hull HP. Good times ahead!

I eagerly await the DBS getting some love. Hopefully FDev does a decent job on the kit. Ship kits tend to be mostly bad parts, but there are some good ones mixed in.
In MechWarrior Online they actually have a fan cockpit item. I had to take it out because everytime I'd overheat with pulse lasers, it'd taunt me. Wub wub wub wub, OVERRIDE ENGAGED....

The Viper only beats out the DBS in racing and paintjob selection. It is less maneuverable, weaker hull, weaker shields, hotter, half the utilities and a tunnel vision cockpit. Simply not a match for combat.
