Launcher doenst let me login

Hi,

I just bought Elite via Steam. I also created a new account at Frontier.
Now I lauch the game form Steam, click in the elite screen on Log In, I enter my credentials, I enter the verification code. In the next window I see please purchase/remeed elite dangerous to continue.

What am I missing here?

I also cant connect my frontier account to steam, it comes back with an internat server error.

Tx for the help. I tried it again just now but still the same issue.
I see Server status: Issues detedted. Does that mean they are still offline?

Did you buy that copy from steam itself or a third party site.

Launcher also will not let me log in. I was in earlier today but now, it simply says "Failure" when I login using my credentials.

Okay, someone with the same login error as me. I checked Twitter, Reddit and here and you are the only person with my error.

Looking at it on a computer screen & not my phone that actually does look a bit like a server wibble, but it is patch day.

Indeed there is actually a tweet or two from frontier themselves about it.

I have been getting the Gateway Timeout errr too, when the launcher actually runs at all. Such a complete borking of the servers yet again.

Well, got as far as getting an authentication code but then the launcher locked up. Nevermind I've been playing on this same PC for quite a while including earlier today soon after the servers came back up, but no, let's make me authenticate again.

And upon relaunching the launcher yet again, I got a "Failed to synchronize with time server" error. Man, it's something new every time.

You'd think software developers would be able to plan and test for such an occurrence. Who do they think they are, Microsoft?
