How do we earn arx?

Definitely something to do with FSS and mapping. I went from 7 to 14 Arx this morning.
I mapped more undiscovered water worlds in this session so I think that is an earner.

It's not as straightforward as you make it sound.
For example OP, me and others spent weeks circumnavigating a moon in SRVs. We played the game every day, having fun driving, enjoying the views, overcoming obstacles etc.
Guess how much ARX would this got us?
I'm not sure if occassional shooting rocks for mats counts.

I'm not really complaining. I also understand that they need to make sure people don't earn ARX for doing nothing, so it might be the only way to do it, but... feels unfair.

Exploration seems to pay well, I got 6 Arx from 350,000 of data last night. Either that or gain 10 Arx a time from putting reactive armour on a Cutter, then taking it off again.

Alternatively, maybe take up ganking. 400 ships at 1 Arx a time isn't going to be easy, but seems like it's worth a try.

I got 18 ARX from exploring yesterday. Just made some jumps, FSS'd every system (mostly M dwarves with boring iceballs, but also some O class stars) I came across and mapped some WWs amd TFCs. Then I logged out just to find 20.000 more ARX already waiting in my bank... :unsure:
Then I realized that I have the Legendary Edition, which means I had 1000 Frontier Points and now I have their value in ARX in the bank. :)

Look at my signature for my Arx earned - it's not much.
Having said that I'm not complaining, I'm just playing the game the way I usually do and if I get Arx from it that's good.

Data remainder (398) for a little over 50 million credits earned.
i'll check what my alt earned yesterday visiting (and failing) engineers then update post.

Up to a limit of 400 a week, the number of ARX you earn is inversely proportional to the number of times you complain about Frontier putting a big blue Store icon in Station Services.

Does CQC generate arx? And what about the new scripted tutorial missions?
