The skinny of working Jameson Crash site.

As most know, though an avid player for the past two years on both consoles, I'm new to pc's. I started three weeks ago last Saturday and after all I've accomplished so far, it's time to do some materials gathering. Having absolutely NO "Encoded" I went to Jameson Crash site and in so much as I had none. Thought I'd pay attention to just what one can do here.

As most know, one must scan four comm's and in doing so can anywhere from one to three of the mats they have here. Reload and do it again and again, until they they are full and no longer can receive any more that trip. Once full, go to Ray Gateway and trade.
I found that if one does a minimum of reloading and scanning all four twenty times before going to Ray Gateway that it will take 20 round trips to to and from Jameson to go from zero to absolutely full.
At my age (70+) I can't sit as long as most of ya, thus it took me an hour including a break to do each round. But in so much as everything else seemed to be broken; Didn't have much else to do anyway.

There it is, Reloading 20 times, scan all four comm's, in the process of making 20 round trips to Ray Gateway and your full to the max.

UPDATE:
Sorry, it takes as long as I stated to fill everything up to and including the G4's. Filling all of the G5's would take about another 20 round trips doing 20 reloads each.

Get an Airhawk motorcycle cushion for your favorite ED gaming chair. Then you can sit a lot longer! It also helps using a HOTAS with joystick yaw so one is not stuck in one position with their feet on rudder pedals. I'm using one which also comes in handy for live concerts and sporting events. Just add air! :)

Also there is one spot to park the SRV where the turret can scan all four Comms without moving. Lots of YouTube training videos on this site.
Meanwhile Cannon Research offers a few more sites one may want to check out.

Regards

I'm the poster child for Restless Leg Syndrom (RLS) in America, thus sometimes I can't sit and play for more than 5 or 10 minutes at a time.
My xbox hotas yaw is giving me issues, fixed it thrice, put an order in for the Warthog, but living in Mexico, it's gonna be about a three month wait.
Found that sweet spot at jameson after watching DTE's video, sure works well.
Though those sites listed on Cannon are pretty good, I don't think any of them can compete with Jameson Site when it comes to the vast number of those three available there. I use a conda (range is good when material hunting) for my gathering, so it's a bit tricky parking. But I've got a couple of years driving one so it's not to bad.

Mix your sessions up, swap between Jameson's and The Bug Killer.
I've manage to fill all my g1's, 2's, 3's, 4's and one group of 5's to the max. If I should need any more, I can just trade up or sideways. Got burned out after 20 hours and headed down to the MEGA Barnacles site to get some mats from those scavenger's or what ever they are called. Gonna need'em to to get my guarding fsd booster. Once full, it's over to Dav's to do a couple of hundred rounds, then off to the next star system some 15 to 17 hundred ly's to max my raw.

I'm a man with a plan, doing all this grinding but changing up from one to another for a month; Means I won't have to do it again. Put one nose to the grind stone, and get the tough part done first.; And the rest is easy pee-zee.

Sorry for the RLS. I have no clue and all the best to you.

XBox HOTAS yaw is a common problem. It is manufacture by the same company that made mine for the PS4 on my third ED account. My issue was with human skin oils that erased all the graphics on the buttons so I have to fly blind.

I use a 65LY A-rated engineered Asp Explorer for gathering materials and moving around to my other ships. I've got a 45 LY Krait Mk II to go play with Guardian and Thargoid sites. I've got another Krait Mk II weaponized taking on Thargoids in combat in the Pleiades sector. I would consider plying nice with them but so far the Frontier Devs haven't provide that option other then "I like Thargoid" decals. I've have six different end game combat ships per PvE and PvP.

Flying around in only one ship say in an Anaconda in ED works but limits having the best one needs given the current challenges. Might I suggest to start with that an engineered Asp Explorer will acquire mats several times faster than an Anaconda. But it is your game so enjoy it.

Don't get me wrong, I do have other ships that are all loaded out for specific styles of play. My Krait MkII is dedicated to AEDC work. My Cutter is strictly for pew pew. I have most mods in storage to change from human to xeno if and when the desire comes. My Python is loaded out to be conducive to hauling mass quantities of passengers in only two jumps each way at Robigo and dry docked at Hauser. My Corvette is only utilized once a month for power play, two more mods and it's retirement time for the old girl. My conda was my first large ship, and though I generally only utilize her for material gathering. She still has all of the mods just in case she gets in the mood.

I managed to get all my stuff in only 3 weeks and a couple of days of mind numbing grinding. Now it's time to get all the various mats to engineer everything. But to me, gathering mats is the fun part.

I understand. I'm currently in Robigo in Open mode at times using my Asp the get there then using my dedicated Python build stored at Ceos to make credits. I don't need credits but I love making them. It is relaxing doing Sothis runs while reading and sometimes replying to posts on the Forum. I also love gathering mats and it is fun to drive the SRV for the easy ones.

I use a Cutter for Power Play merits. It is pretty ridiculous making my credits then ignore it for a week and go do my normal game. Being Empire I'm hostile in Federation space but no one ever attacks me. Arriving at a hostile station being scanned they don't care. I only get interdicted when carrying some lucrative cargo and this is a combat Cutter.

There is another post per an Independent Anarchy system near Deciat with the Federation trying to take control. Several Combat Cutters and a few support ships with rail guns and torpedoes could end this. Then they will owe us a favor. I love this game.
