same here, trying to fsd off surface JamesonBase, game freezes 0 second countdown. Error-cod Orange Sidewinder


Edit: tryed to fsd off surface into another system, same results. i got a nearly 5min long fsd animation then error code orange sidwinder.

so im trapped on that planet until patch? :(


Edit 2: made it back to my homstarport via self destruction. someone owe me rebuy cost. i also made a video of this, since i crash on 100% of any FSD use

Added latest reports and added a fixed indicator to the keybinding combination report.

EDIT: Also since yesterday's patch, a tiny amount of bugs should have been fixed. If anyone can confirm this because I will update the main post because I don't trust FDev when they say they did something, especially when they use the words "fixed" and "balanced" or "very seriously".

I did a collect and deliver mission (over the weekend) and could not hand in the materials.
Every time i hit the complete button it would take me back one step.

I did another to be sure and same thing happened.

According to some, the ONLY bug in the game is broken Engineers, and Frontier claims to have fixed that. We can now close this thread and sing merry songs of mirth.

For your list - you have Jade's Pride issue at WHN. It could be lumped into one Big WHN Issue that has dialed back facilities available at several WHN ports. In particular Chloe's Engineer base at Cinder Dock is now without a shipyard (depsite my having ships based there). There are complaints of the Material Trader disappeared also.

So you could add to your list WHN Colony baulked.

My actual god Frontier, we want these issues, and many MANY other issues that you have swept under the rug, fixed BEFORE the carrier update, and for the love of all things sacred in this world, increase the volume of testing and hire some more QA people that are skilled in their work, the game NEEDS it.

You have made well over 80 million British pounds (over 100 million dollars US) off of us loyal consumers from 2014-2018, reported by YOUR OWN CFO.
David Braben and other higher ups, you HAVE the money, why is this game not getting the proper attention and funding to facilitate this testing, issue resolution, and development needed to produce a quality product for us consumers? This is incorrigible and unacceptable.

Spend the money, David. Fix this game if you love it so dearly.

In David's office you'll find a life-size cardboard cutout. The real David Braben is off enjoying his retirement on some island, an island we all bought for him. He may have loved Elite in the beginning, but I fear the love of money was the root of evil bugs and neglect that have overtaken this once wonderful game.

Don't get me wrong, I myself love ED, but the majority of the things I love about it are from the early days of its development, back when David and his developers loved the game as much as we diehard fans do. Sadly, times have changed. Best to accept this and enjoy what you can of the game while you can, because it's only going to get worse. :(

i'm afraid what you say is true Duck, i just wish it wasn't this way, the game and consumers deserve much better than this, it saddens me greatly.
