LaveCon 2013 Poster

I have a LaveCon 2013 poster that I was planning on getting framed but has sat gathering dust in my back bedroom.

It's a shame to bin it so I am opening up to the forums for a good home.

Cost will just be the postage and packing. Not sure how much it will cost but it is a large and laminated.

According to the kitchen scales it is 400g in weight. It is 85x119cm, so that is A0. Dunno how much a tube costs or weighs. Looking on Google I can only find links to purchase multiple. I doubt it would cost more than a few quid.

The cheapest single A0 poster tube I could source is £8.09. Working on the assumption that it is 3x the weight of the A3 tube that the post office had available. Combined weight is approximately 664gm.

UK shipping:
£3.55 1st
£3.00 2nd
£4.55 1st + signed
£4.00 2nd + signed

USA:
£11.65 standard
£15.80 tracked + signed

If it weighs more than the cost will be slightly higher.

I asked about Europe and France was similar to USA price.

@graham.reeds
I'll take it off your hands if no one else wants it...I'm up in your next of the woods in 2 weeks time, so could potentially pick it up from you...it's finally built!...track day testing out the new twin engine 400cc pro kart! British 24hr next year! :D

Graham, I'll take it if you would like. I live in the UK so postage will be cheap, and I'll cover that for you anyway. I will make sure it gets back to the Lave Radio team so it stays in their history. PM me if you're interested.

I also have an A0 tube already which I could post to you with return postage ready.

@Wokawidget you doing the sprint series at Teesside in it? Also we ran our own kart at the 24hr. Last and third from last. It's a very different proposition running one yourself.
That's the intention :)
What kart did you get? 320 or 400cc? Last and third from last? Did it fall in half as you crossed the line???!
We have spare parts for most things... But I agree its a completely diff ball game! At least this time I won't have to keep driving 80 miles back home after each stint to let a pig out for the toilet! :)
I love the 400cc class though... The kart is just an animal!

4 clutch failures, a front right bearing failure, a rear right wheel mount failure and a rear sprocket failure meant we were in the pits more than we were on track.

The following year was going good until we ended up in the tyre wall and bent the steering arm. The only one we had that fitted. We got it straightened but dirt had got into the rear bearings and they went later. No spares so a trip to mine at 4am to take them off my kart.

Basically you need two karts to race. Also you need sealed engines from Rpm too.

The cheapest single A0 poster tube I could source is £8.09, which I bought. The actual combined weight is 849gm, which is somewhat more than my poor estimate.

(these are estimates based on the increase in weight - I will get a confirmation prior to sending)
