What to do about Griefers

You know if the pvp community are forced to leave the game a lot of people will be wanting their money back. ED and less players = Bad for ED

Thats why the shadow server exists. The whole I paid for the product but can't access it anymore argument falls flat when they can still play (on their own without being able to change anything at all).

I don't see how the PVP community would be driven away by anything though. Griefers might find themselves getting lonely, but thats to be expected.

You are completely off yer nut mate, go browse one of the links in my signeture and read some, if you can be bothered like the EULA you agreed to.

I posted about this not long ago, and the response was... let's say, overwhelming. The general consensus was that I'm a big girl's party dress and I should just accept it as part of the game's dynamic. LOL.

When exploring, I just play in solo now, as the chances of meeting anyone out there is nil, but losing all your data on the way back is a grim thought.

I play online for trade and (when I get around to it) combat (obviously, or what would be the point)... but I'm not a combat oriented player at the moment.

I still think it's a ****'s trick to gank an unarmed exploration ship, but hey ho... when in Rome LOL

It's probably better if you just make your point rather than telling people to look in your sig.
If you want to know why, feel free to DuckDuck for my reasoning.

Griefers like salt so they try to extract it in the forum by telling players like you to git-gud, just reverse the polarity by blocking them in game and banging on about it in the forum. They don't like it up em.

It was the trainee I was talking about, not you :)
apologies for the misunderstanding, I thought you were implying I wasn't good enough to train people. o7

Yeh, it definitely takes more than a few 1v1s to acquire the skill to give our fruity friend a run for his money, but I do my best to prepare them still!

PvPers often scold an upset Carebear to get good, build a proper ship, know how to high wake, Open is safe, etc.

But I very often see we PvPers in Solo....lawful, outlaw, in-law alike.

Are we not "gud" enough?
I don't think all of us are getting footage for a video.....

puzzling....

I am playing Devil's advocate.

:)

Let me correct you, what the pvp community like is not salt, they like the adrenalin rush of watching you go pop it all adds to the score in the top 5, we have reputations to uphold, your salt is just a bonus, like a condiment. - If you'd ever bothered to talk to any, they'd even help you stay alive with tips and help you get 'gudder' so maybe you don't go pop the next time.

The ganker/griefer dividing line is a narrow one and entirely subjective. Gankers that try to suck salt in the forum are definitely on the griefer side of it.
I'm done with you, feel free to stalk more of my replies and threads with bait and troll knowing it's not welcome.
