Removing bounty and passenger mission questions

Hi

My gf has just started playing ED and I want her to like it.

She incurred a 200 fine and 400 bounty for trespassing because she couldn't get out of the trespass zone (she was heading upwards instead of outwards).

I should know this but don't.
How does she get rid of the bounty (I want her to not get interdicted)? Can this be done in noob zone? Will she always have to go to a detention centre?

Secondly
She likes the idea of passenger missions. If she gets two business class modules able to hold 3 people each. Could she spread a single missions requiring 6 spaces over both modules?

If you can find an Interstellar Factors (low security systems, or anarchy-controlled stations in any system) then the bounty can be cleared there without travel to a detention centre. I don't know if there's any of those in the noob zone.

Otherwise, dock and hand yourself in to go to the detention centre - hopefully there's one near/in the noob zone.

Or, buy a new ship - which won't have a bounty on it - and go from there.
