Gatekeeping is when one person decides that their experience alone allows them to decide who is allowed to have an opinion on something and that anyone who disagrees with their opinion clearly doesn't understand the breadth and depth of their experience that allows them to make such judgements.

Well, going from banal to gatekeeping in just a couple of posts, I don;t see where he's restricting your opinions, but foisting some new-age fra-la-la of Gatekeeping and asking him to stop expressing his opinion does seem like your trying to control his opinion. Just sayin'.

I'm not telling him to stop expressing his opinion, I'm asking him to stop saying that mine is invalid simply because I disagree with him. I want to have an adult conversation not one that goes "I'm right, you're wrong blows raspberry". And his comment was banal.

Par for the course on this forum im afraid. Fedv will say "please dont leave" and tell you how much they want you to play and then you come to this forum where you get told your opinion is worthless and Fdev cant see the problem.

I left for the same reason many others did, FDev kept asking for feedback and focus groups and changed nothing.
It has never been any different for PowerPlay, that is my point. We have been told that they hear us and are working on it for years now, yes, years..
If you are happy with the culture of false promises then that is fine by me, for the fun I had this game was a bargain.
