Space! Your update and fix reports put the company I work for to shame.

I am going to book tomorrow off to read through.

So much to look forward to tonight.

speechless at the quick response

Im an expat in Thailand so when the Uk was going to sleep just after B2 was released, I was up playing for an hour or so, v buggy and crashy.

Lots of posts on the forum about problems after the update .

I just sat down again to play, and its just brilliant. ive had no crashes, no lag issues and everything just looks amazing, then I just see Michael's update posts on the fixes done today. all I can say is wow!!, I take my hat off to you guys.

What took Dice and BF4 a year to fix (and its still broken) took you one day. Big ups to the UK devs be proud guys. get some sleep!!!!

May have already been asked, but Michael, are there plans to add known issues / workarounds to the opening post? Ie the galaxy map sky box bug / feature a lot of people are seeing?

Am I missing something so obvious....but where is the cargo screen where you buy items to transport?

thanks

Bah, just testing now, the bug with the 860m/win8 hasnt been fixed yet. Still cant play ED fullscreen on my laptop :(

Michael

First time i've followed a forum with a game in Beta. Picked up on some negitive comments, assume this is the case with all early access games, but they ARE early access, not copmplete games by definition, so i'm very happy and apprecitive of all the work you guys are doing with ED. Keep up the good work, look forward to B2 developing to ensure a great full game release! Cheers all :)

One more thing. Not sure if it is because there are no stars but the space dust seems even more noticeable now...way too visible.

Massive kudos to the dev team! As a 30 year Elite veteran, I am so stoked by what you're doing! Test away! Reset away! You are making a classic!

where is my 3.000.000 credits

where is my 3.000.000 credits.....where is my Lakon Type 6.....what is the point playing now if you take everything what i earn in next update....did i miss something here??

You're playing to test...

It's a beta. You play so that the final release is as bug free and feature rich as possible. Resets are often a necessary by-product of major updates as the dev team don't want to be spending hours on data migration testing when they can be cracking on with fixing the game.

If you've never been involved in a beta test before then I'd suggest staying away until the gamma is released. I'm 99% sure that this will not be the last reset before launch.

What AngryGandalf said.

You need to understand that you will lose progress after wipes. You're basically testing a game. The pros for you is that you get to play the game early whilst the pros for the developers are that they get QA from us.

Of course, some people play Betas only to play the game early and enjoy it, but I don't think that is true purpose of a Beta (or Alpha, in that sense).

Wait for the final release if you don't want to lose progress, etc.
