So now we are being blocked from asking questions on the live stream if it's not what FDev want to hear?

@StuartGT seems to be a bit of a Chaotic Good character :p .

You don't appear to have any clue what I want to hear.

The fact is, it's unrealistic to expect people to not to take an advantage of an opportunity to ask questions about problems such as those ED has recently encountered.

I understand that yesterday's stream involved third-parties who would have booked their appearances in advance so it would have been a shame to cancel them or try to reschedule but, in that case, a dev' who sought to avoid the appearance of indifference would have ensured that the issues had been addressed beforehand.

In short, it's been several weeks since this update's sh*t hit the fan and it wouldn't have killed them to stick somebody in front of a camera to talk about it.

First thing Paige talked about I think.

Yep but, at the risk of repeating myself, when an organisation hasn't provided an opportunity for people to ask about things they might reasonably consider important, it's unrealistic to expect them to not ask those questions whenever they can.

Wrong time, wrong place, wrong people.

The comedy petition was more the place for that sort of generalized GRRR, and FDEV very kindly responded to it despite all of the uncouth behaviour.

To be fair at the people going "this is about COVAS and voice packs" uhh.. no one gives a flying crap about that. It's just more garbage Frontier wants to make you buy with Arx... I'd expect questions about fixing a game before asking about more microtransaction nonsense.
If you look at those who most consistently defend every move the dev's make you're left to consider two things concerning their motivations: they are remarkably easy to please...or they get a percentage of sold accessories for their staunch efforts:)

They decide the contents of their stream, getting mad its not what you wanted it to be is funny but pointless. You'd be better off not watching it.

Considering the people running the live stream are community managers and the live stream is one of the few forms where they can effectively communicate a clear message with a wide audience in a quick and consistent fashion. While I can appreciate not wanting to divert a guest segment entirely, keeping the message regarding rising bug issues to a 15 second soundbite of "we won't be answering your concerns here" does look a bit like twiddling thumbs while Rome burns.

Is Rome burning ?.

I thought it was just the usual post patch tantrum, and definitely not the worst so far.

You haven't got any input in it, why does that bother you ?.

It doesn't bother me.

I'm simply pointing out that when an organisation hasn't provided an opportunity for people to ask about things they might reasonably consider important, it's unrealistic to expect them to not ask those questions whenever they can.

Does that bother you?

Nope, I'm aware some people lack social skills.

I didn't have the boredom to watch it - did they make mention of the recent issues?

They adressed them several times during the livestream, yes. They let the viewers know that there were problems and that they are working in a fix... yes.
