It started happening after a certain patch. I think Frontier added something to make them temporary disappear once you collect it all. The game also started randomly crashing after you shot them at about the same time.Is this a new nerf feature or a bug?
Back to filling a mat from one site - with plenty left - would be my guess - I wasn't empty so only collected just over 100 from each, and there were a lot leftGeez, how quickly are people filling up their raw mat's now?
I was regularly getting around 135 mat's from clearing a site, which took around half an hour, so I'd have to scoot across to another site and collect the final dozen or so mat's.
If there aren't any more disappearing mat's, it must only take around 3/4 of one site to fill up on a mat'.
That's how it was originally and if I had any issues it's because I would shoot several then go collect them and sometimes I might misplace one or two.Geez, how quickly are people filling up their raw mat's now?

These reports give me hope. Thanks for the updates. I highly recommend anyone who is engineering or even considering it, make this trip and fill your elemental mats. It's wonderful to have all that extra material to engineer and synthesize with.Just arrived at Shinrarta after doing two trips to the area, one to fill up and trade down, the other to top off. Working as it did before it stop working.
Utilize a DSS and send down probes. After which choose Bio from the number of choices. Some sites will be larger than others. Doing it in a conda as I do, makes for quite the challenge.Like I said I'm at the site(s) now, you can fill one mat with less than the entire field in about 40mins. But you have to know where the sites are and what site on each planet to go to.

And you get ARX! Not many, but every little counts![]()
That would be inconsistent with all other mats. If your contacts panels says it's there, it should be there. I've never read anything about RNG with materials that show on contact panel as being present.Crystalline sites have always done this for me. Nothing new. Assumed that you occasionally don't get anything from the shard.
Shards keep randomly disappearing when shot same as before. Nothing was "fixed".
I'm also not sure if this isn't intended, like others said before, not all of the sahrds were supposed to give mats.
Anyway, it's still the same, nothing changed.
