I have taken part in a steam discussion about that. Most People think that you are a really bad guy when you resell animals. I do not since I think it is an intended ingame mechanic with a free market. What do ou think?
Some people are afraid, that prices could raise to an insane level, because of reselling. I do not, because animals are more or less infinite in the game and the trade center space is limited. Will the trade system remain that way in the final version?Call me a bad person but I was happy to be rid of those annoying baby Warthogs that kept breaking out and ruining my zoo![]()
If you want to use the trade center as a save to have that animal later you can do so without putting it up on the market- works perfectly fine. Believe me, those players really want to have that much CC for their animal. Some might even just hope for someone to buy ot overpriced without noticing.
Not in my experience in the beta it hasn't worked fine leaving animals in the trade center. Protesters protesting the animal that has been in there too long. Placing the animals in the market have prevented the protesters. Similarly the same with quarantine.
Oh, really? never had that occur to me. I felt like my nile monitor was in trade center forever. Obviously not long enough...
This happens only if the Wellfare of the Animal is low at the Moment when you put it in the Trade CenterNot in my experience in the beta it hasn't worked fine leaving animals in the trade center. Sorry for double post, but YES to all of it, Some players just want to be fair when they price their animals cheap or normal. If kindness is used against you and someone is making profit out of your work, then, in all honesty, multi-player is not for me.I don't like it when people buy cheaper animals and immediately turn around to resell them at a higher cost. Some people put cheaper animals out there to help newer players get more animal variety
I think there should really be a couple year cooldown before you can sell an animal. Call it a health thing, where the animal needs to destress from the move before you move them again
so say you buy an animal, you now have to keep it in your zoo for at least 3 or 5 years before you can sell it again. This will prevent rapid turn arounds to inflate the market prices on animals
The sliders are a pain in the b... honestly. I wish we could just enter the numbre. And since the filters are not saved, frequently checking the market is annoying as well, tbh.

it'd make sense realistically as well, to have a timed cooldown before you can resell. animals aren't just shipped to a zoo and immediately shipped to another zoo. They have a observation period before they travel again, they're monitored and made sure to be okay and recovered before they're shipped out again.
