[Video] Open letter from community to Elite Dangerous

Good idea, I'm also going to stop paying for my ship insurance. The Geico guy was really confused no matter how loudly I yelled at him.

You need to send an e-mail outside working hours, followed by a second one five minutes later threatening dire consequences because the first is still unanswered.

Sorry hun, your target graphic is coping just fine.

And Cornwall isn't worried about your attack. They kind of laughed it off tbh.

Yeah. Although sadly the reason they found no issues with them is largely based on the a standard that "everyone lies all the time, so you're stupid if you believe anything an advertiser says"

It's interesting but this doesn't help a lot.
There are companies that do intentional misleading advertisement and they already know that they will have to pay a fine for it, so the product price is defined considering this fine already. So the final customer is cheated twice.
There is a well-known diet product that applies this practice.

Discussion about the letter itself continues apace, with this active thread being dedicated to war-stories about not wanting to sign the letter's associated petition:

Overall the Community Requests Letter seems to have had quite an effect, and appears to have embedded itself in the hearts and minds of CMDRs.

Its certainly made the forum funnier. I doubt it will alter the dev approach to the game in any way though.

Stuart my dude I wish you would just use another thread and stop bumping this one. This discussion should not be tangentially related to the video attempting to exploit the situation for clicks.
