Extinct animal DLC

I think there should be an extinct animal DLC. But it shouldn't be the first one they make, because extant animals should have priority in a game like this, but if you're gonna preach to me about how it "IsN't ReAlIsTiC!", don't bother commenting. You can create floating islands and put elephants in tiny little crates, this game isn't realistic. If we were to get extinct DLCs, I would want to see these animals
Tyrannosaurus
Giganotosaurus
Spinosaurus
Velociraptor
Dilophosaurus
Ornitholestes
Coelophysis
Hadrosaurus
Anatotitan
Shantungosaurus
Triceratops
Styracosaurus
Ankylosaurus
Polacanthus
Edmontonia
Sauropelta
Iguanodon
Stegosaurus
Kentrosaurus
Dakosaurus
Mosasaurus
Megalodon
Livyatan
Odobenocetops
Dodo
Haast's Eagle
Argentavis
Giant Moa
Smilodon
Mammuthus
Coelodonta
Dimetrodon
Edaphosaurus
Ophiacodon
Cephalaspis
Brontoscorpio
Megalograptus
Hynerpeton
Hyneria
Stethacanthus
Dinogorgon
Labyrinthodontia
Scutosaurus
Diictodon
Lystrosaurus
Any Therocephalian
Chasmatosaurus

Mesozoic creatures are a bit audacious given they could cannibalize JWE sales, but I'd fully support extinct Holocene animals!

Gonna throw this in again:

There's a zoo sim game already coming out soon that's dedicated solely to dinosaurs and extinct animals. It even has a lot of the features that PZ does.

Considering the demographic PZ has carved out for itself (a realistic animal zoo game), it would be smart to stay in that area, at least for now, rather than release DLC that would be in direct competition with a full game. Not to mention it would be in direct competition with their own title, JWE.

I'm not necessarily for or against this kind of DLC, I just don't think it's really the most needed addition for PZ.

What game whould that be?

I actually don't care if extinct animals will be in some post DLC, but chances for that is same as we will see Planet Zoo on consoles I would say.

That indie game will not compete over Jurassic World Evolution because it's not Jurassic World, not well themed to that series, and not very well known to the general public (including my little brothers who play this game on their PS4) compared to how you may see it when you look it up on the internet and YouTube videos. Yes, both games do have extinct animals you can use as attractions in exhibits, but that alone doesn't mean anything major for Jurassic World Evolution or the entire franchise as a whole. The science in JWE, a non-indie game, is more than what you think compared to the actual indie game, PK.

You misunderstood me. When I said it would be in direct competition with JWE, I meant if they released a dinosaur pack for PZ. That would essentially be competing with Frontier's own title JWE, as right now if people want to manage dinosaurs, they have to buy that game, which is a full priced game. Introducing a dinosaur DLC for PZ, which would be much cheaper in price, would potentially take sales away from JWE

Sorry for over reacting there. It's a frequent thing I've seen on the internet and forums that I've grown tired of seeing because it's so ridiculous.

But, in regards to what you meant, you're absolutely right. And it isn't like the earlier Zoo Tycoon games either I should say, as this game aims for more realistic zoo concept approaches. But, I'm also sure you also know what I meant in my PK competition rant.

However, PK won't be adding any living animals (guess why), so that means people are unable to mix together living and extinct animals that lived together without issue (ex. bluebucks with extant South African antelope, stegomastodons and Barid's tapirs).

I think the only sort of extinct animals I would expect to ever see in Planet Zoo would be recently (last 100-150 years) extinct animals as a result of humans. That's if they really wanted to go the route of making a point of showing how important conservation should be.

I like that idea very much! there are plenty of extinct animals because of the human race, that would make a good educational DLC

for Dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals, for me it is a no. not in this game, in a seperate game, yes and there are all ready some on the market or coming soon.
it is true, that JWE is inacurate, because it shows the dinosaurs the way the movies did and not they way realy were( as far as science knows today), but I did not find the campain difficult, I made it to the last island within a few days ( in a week were I had to go to Real life work, too)
