I plot the 2 neutrons otw to THARGOID BUBBLE (Witch Head Nebula), Route plotter malfunctions. Apparently there is a small tube of unlocked systems angled from the bubble, NOT the Neutrons... So I have an epiphany, and realize Ive been there before (Visited Systems filter). FINALLY GET THERE!!! Whats in this little bubble? THARGOIDS! Whats needed to kill THARGOIDS? WEAPONS!!! WHATS NOT IN THE WITCH HEAD BUBBLE??? GUARDIN TECH BROKER!!! Are you FLIPPIN' SERIOUS!?!?!?!? No Guardian tech broker... in the only THARGOID location??? OMFGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, Im done... who has the coffee?

And it's just Elite Dangerous really ain't it? That game that has you out in the black for months discovering and gathering all that tasty data for you to forget your in Open and get ram ganked in the mail slot when you get back...

Enjoy your "personal narrative" and resulting "emergent gameplay" as you schlep back and forth instead of doing the thing you mistakenly thought you wanted to do.

As a rant I can only give this 2 out of 10. Notable points are:
  • Too difficult to ascertain what the rant is about? Is it poor GalMap representation, Route plotter failure, a mysterious locked system or that there are no Guardian Tech Brokers nearby. A good rant needs a firm focus, this wishy washy shotgun approach leaves everyone scratching their head.
  • Spelling and grammar. Seriously, if you are going to make obvious spelling and grammatically errors, make them worth while. This poor attempt just looks like the OP has very poor literacy skills.
  • There is no clear target, just who is the OP ranting about, it is FD's fault, it is the OP's fault, is it everyone else's' fault? How can you get the community to rally around your rant if they don't know who to turn their anger and angst against.
  • No mention of crying to Customer Support - a missed opportunity if you know the OP's history.
  • Finally the OP didn't play his trump card. As other's have alluded to, the OP has some form in using his religious beliefs as a big stick against FD to get his way.
All and all, a very pathetic and low brow attempt at a rant post - OP you need to lift your game!

I love the learning curve that comes with game. Even writing a rant on the forums is a steep one with lots of grind 🤣🤣🤣

Im buzzing around there now. So far getting a better impression of it than the other california nebula or pleades for some reason.. the whole place seems more easy going.

Yeah there's not much to do there sure.

My anti-thargoid ship is still at Arc's Faith (HR 1183 - Close to Maia) and I have no problem finding lots of NHSS (Threat 5 - 9) at about 20Mm to 0.20Ly from the station.
