So, apparently im a Hacker now. Seems to become a common excuse.

Has anybody considered that there could have been a lot of rubber banding or lag?
Op's assaillant may as well have had the impression he was hitting the target every time so you could both be correct in your assumptions?
Just sayin'

Some of them are maxed in hypocrisy. When they blow your ship in 10 seconds they are proud to give you priceless advice: 'git gud' or 'don't fly in open unprepaired', but when they can't blow your ship in 10 seconds they call you a cheater.

Haven't you heard old MMO wisdom?

Anyone worse than me is noob / slacker / filthy casual.
Anyone better than me is a cheater / no-lifer / elitist snowflake.

Did some kind of Trading in Orerve for the Community Goal. Then someone with a 11 Mil Bounty interdicted me with a Conda and a quadrillion Plasmas, i stayed and fought. He missed quite a lot of his shots tho before i got the message: "your shields are hacked"

I got a message like this before when someone else interdicted me a week ago in a Vette. Is this a common excuse now? I mean, i fly a cutter max engineered. Do you expect me do die in 10 seconds just because you got a C8 PD?

Ill gladly open a Support ticket to get confirmation for you that i dont run anything that could alter any shipstats but for the Gods Sake, get yourself some Honor😞.
Don't worry about this - it's really common. Last month, I built an extreme-tanky T9 (the "Tectonic Tribulation"). The very first flight at a CG, I got this:

Player #1: you realize we have you cheating on camera right?

Player #2: cheating harrrd

Player #1: Unless you don't have any cargo, the amount of phasing and shield damage is impossible

Player #2: nice tools you have there bud / so your aware this is being recorded and will be sent to FDEV

It's all fine - people just sometimes get so used to seeing the same sorts of engineering builds they can't get their heads around the atypical ones. Their first thought, unfortunately, is that the other person is running cheat tools, etc.

Anyway, I got chatting with those players. They called over one more guy to "check out the tanky T9", lol. At least one of them is on my friends list now. :)

I suspect a lot of people are over-thinking this.

In my experience, most of the accusations of cheating levelled at players are made for the benefit of the accusers teammates.

What they're actually saying is "The reason I can't kill this guy is coz he's a cheat and NOT because I'm not as good at the game as I say I am".

I've seen the same thing in every multiplayer game I've played, from Quake and Counterstrike to ESO and ED.
People get embarrassed about ineptitude and seek to make excuses.

Unfortunately there is no guarantee that the 'players' mentioned in the OP are teenagers. Just look at some of the vitriol expressed in this forum by supposedly mature adults .... lets just say physical age and mental age are often decades apart!
