I bought sunglasses.I can honesty say I'm not desperate at all about the currently reported unavailability of an internet spaceship paintjob. This could be linked to me being in the never buy any cosmetics whatsoever category of gamers.
Somewhat baffled as to how anyone else could actually be upset about it would be more accurate.
The freebies are nice though aren't they.

I got a retro thargoid bobblehead for 1 arx, its my only "purchase".
Its a thinly veiled strawman and ad hominem in one. I already have the paints so this doesn't impact me the slightest, and said so. I couldn't be less 'desperate' if I tried. But Stigbob has a tendency to become quite nasty when someone says something, anything, about FD that he finds too negative. He'll immediately jump into 'lol u mad bro!' mode.
There is no forum rule that specifies a minimum level of upsetness to post in a thread.
You need to be upset to decode humour as nastiness.
Same for me. I have not bought a single paintjob since the Arx introduction. I have spent many euros before Arx and own dozens of paint jobs and a handful of ship kits.
Reason 1. I do not first buy fake currency in amounts that do not fit the price of what I actually want to buy. This is a significant hurdle for me.
Reason 2. Having to start the game first to buy a paintjob really is a very effective deterrent.
In the end it saves me a lot of money. So perhaps Arx is a good thing.

How about the paint packs?
As it stands now (iirc), the only paint pack is the Cobra OnionHead Pack made of OnionHead and Green Pirate paints.

For how long are going to dwell about two damned paints? How many threads about these damned paint are going to create and write the same thing over and over?
You're are making a fool out of us. I don't believe that lack of these paints is caused by some sort of coding error in the store. Yeah, but this is your circus and we're the monkeys running insinde of your machine, you can do anything regarding the game and tell us whatever you want without any consequences. The only thing that's is going to move you is a sh.tstorm throughout reddit and youtube.
I must say I can't fully enjoy the game because my favorite color is not present, the FD staff is very evasive when asked about the lack of colors.
for NOW - I'm switching my positive ED review on steam to NEGATIVE

Verdict is still out on PC version. The shadows are nice, I have to give em that. Too bad they broke my buttery-smooth framerate with stuttering and Max Headroom FOV-pop, but this is Frontier we're talking about.
