Coriolis ? Which version ?

Greetings Cmdrs. I'm about to plug in my ship build into Coriolis.io
Is this the correct version ? I see there were other versions and there is ED Shipyard and Orbis. Is Coriolis.io a good one to work with ? I used one before but I can't remember exactly which one. Also, how does the save system work ? I don't need to create a username or password for this application....does it save to my tablet ? I don't want to lose my progress as it takes time to plug in all the values and I have 10 ships now. Thank you for any feedback. Fly safe. o7

Coriolis is fantastic and always up to date, im sure as soon as small seismic charges appear in the game Coriolis will update quickly

it also saves your builds in your "cookies" so as long as your not looking at the NoNo sites on your device and wiping the cookies you're all good ;)

All your values are also "written" into the URL. You can see how it changes when you e.g., add a module. So just save the URL and you are good.
This is sound advice, you can also copy the longer permalink in the Shortlink panel (chain icon).

Yes, you should go with coriolis.io
There are occasional updates, which will load the same link.

coriolis also stores saved builds in a browser cookie (the diskette icon) which you can load and also use to compare for offensive/defensive stats (the red rocket icon below the pips).
However, this stored cookie can cause incompatibilities, which can be addressed by closing all windows/tabs with coriolis.io and then deleting the data for coriolis.io in the browser settings (and possibly closing the browser immediately after that in case the data gets rewritten from cache).
I prefer Safari on Mac for most things Internet and got several times greeted by a huge Coriolis Station wireframe with non-functional tiny links because of above issue.
People using iOS devices can experience the same.

Thank you all for your feedback. This clarifies things for me. One small thing....I noticed everything aligned with the values in the game except the insurance cost ? Not a big deal but how accurate is everything ? Thanks again. I can't wait to trick around with different builds. I'm all excited :)

If you click on the cogs in the top right, you can select the level of insurance (alpha, beta, standard). You can also enter module and ship discount in the same way.

Ref the insurance, it might be that you've bought a module or even the ship at a discount and the game has calculated your insurance based on the purchase price.
