Summary
System: Quator
Station: Quator Station (Coriolis Starport, large pads available, 141 Ls from main star, 107.75 Ly from Sol)
Objective: Hand in Combat Bonds after fighting for Bruthanvan Co. in Conflict Zones
Time limit: 28th October 3305 @ 15:00 UTC

Description
An extremist group from the Kappa Fornacis system is responsible for the contaminated fertiliser that has caused widespread crop failures.
Gino Borstein made this statement on behalf of the tri-superpower taskforce investigating the blight’s origin:
Our investigation has confirmed that an activist group known as Scythe of Panem managed to infiltrate Rockforth Corporation manufacturing plants in the Riedquat system. Members of the group contaminated the EX7 fertiliser with a synthetic agent designed to putrefy plant matter.
Recent efforts by the galactic community have almost eradicated the EX7 fertiliser. But Borstein warned that the activists have turned hostile upon discovery.
The group’s manifesto discusses revenge for the Federation’s 3301 campaign to wipe out the recreational drug known as Onion Head. This involved an orbital bombardment of Onion Head crops on Panem using biocides with a similar genomic structure to the blight. It’s likely that the activists used these biocides as the foundation of their synthetic agent.
Shortly after we located Scythe of Panem cells in the Quator system, their more militant members responded with unprovoked violence. Local citizens are now at risk of being caught in the crossfire.
An effort to neutralise the activists is being led by the Bruthanvan Co faction, which has requested tactical support from the galactic community.
Independent pilots who destroy Scythe of Panem ships in the Quator system will be generously rewarded by Bruthanvan Co. This campaign will run from the 22nd to the 28th of October 3305.
To be eligible for rewards you must sign up as an active participant before handing in Combat Bonds at Quator Station in the Quator system. Only combat bonds handed in after signing up will count toward your personal contribution total.
Please note that if you have any crew members, a portion of your combat bonds will be automatically assigned to them. These combat bonds will not count towards your personal contribution total, and your crew will receive the reward for their bonds when they are handed in. The proportion of combat bonds assigned to your crew will depend on their rank.
Be aware that faction-state changes and other disruptive events can negatively impact markets and station services, and could prevent the initiative from running smoothly.
Notes:
- Part of the new Interstellar Initiative - The Scourge
- Station services: Commodities Market, Shipyard, Outfitting, Repair, Restock, Refuel
- Nearest Interstellar Factors: Local, Uszaa (10.37 Ly), Arque (11.56 Ly), Orrere (12.30 Ly)

Combat bonds CG.
@Kietrax No rewards for opposing it... so only a single combat CG then OK...
Is the Double pay out in effect for the II CG medium and High conflict zones like last time...
Or was that a one off...

Correct on the rewards - just bonds and maybe massacre missions for opposing this activity. Not sure on the double payout to be honest, not sure I was aware of the last thing you are referring to ...

The double pay out was when you kill a ship you got double pay outs 100K kill = 200K per kill as you got two payout one after the other...
if you did low conflict zone you only got a single pay out of 100K not two pay outs for 200K...
This allowed the combat CG to get into high tiers...
Last II CZ CG did double pay out...
Kill on video payed 700K+ due to double pay out on every kill...

OK - thanks. Not sure if that was deliberate or not - guess we'll have to see once people get into it. I can follow up with FDev if it's not doing what people want/expect ...

So no reward for supporting the brave citizens of Kappa Fornacis for defending their livelihoods against the use of bio-weapons by a galactic superpower?
Other than combat bonds, maybe massacre missions and sticking it to the man, nope ...

Right but in terms of narrative development it would be meaningless opposition because so long as the only CG mission hits tier 1 it's a success

Maybe, but as far as I know, we've not heard what defines "success" for these II based CGs ...

Wow, not even an opposing CG?
No task for people sympathizing with the revenge of the victims of the feds? :D

Let us take a moment for all the victims of the federal bombardment, animals burned
in the fires caused by federation crimes, homes destroyed and loved ones never to return.
Let us also mourn for the intrepid members of the "galactic community" who tried to bring
humanitarian relief to Kappa Fornacis, only to by hunted down by the federal navy.

When feds can't solve a problem, they bomb it.
Instead of contributing to this CG i urge your to lay waste to DS Leonis,
and steal all the diamonds from the depot there.
Empty the war coffers, as that is the only thing that'll ever hurt the federal government.

There's not a competing CG, but if we could win some CZs then who knows...

I have no love for helping out people whose retribution is as aimless
as poisoning fertilizers. They hurt farmers like the original bombardment did.
Instead abandon the CG and non-lethally rob every fed ship you see from this day on,
also disable any navy craft you encounter. Go for the material, not the people.
