So about those new Ice Planets...

And with global warming coming to the earth, it is very important that we get splendid ice planets, to mitigate our despair.Ice Planets are just the most common type of planet in ED galaxy and apart from that they are also the most boring type of planets, so yes an improvement to these would be very welcome for explorers

Yeah, I mean, they made some concept art, and rendered a single shader in engine and took a screenshot of it.
What the heck else do people want.
Also, frankly, why is it so exciting to get a minor graphical update for a single planet type?
Because when I go exploring I only ever discover Icy planets so getting this sorted will literally save me from insanity. I’ve accepted my fate is to be the greatest ever discoverer of the least interesting planet type ever but at least give me access to ice that looks like ice for the copious amounts of banana daiquiris it takes to sustain me on these fruitless expeditions
We saw many great artworks from FD and non of it come in to fruition - I say forget about it. Seriously.
The moment of truth for me will be the "notorious" New Era. If they fail to release any of the KS features or they can't take any new deep and meaningful gameplay into the game I will finally click the "uninstall" button.

This is the one thing I am hanging around for. When will the new ice planets be introduced, so I have a reason to bolt my HOTAS to my chair again.
They're easy to find, so the FSS won't be as much of a problem if these turn out to be nice.
Considering we can't land on any atmospheric planet yet, I would say my description is pretty good.
Roll on atmospherics for more.

I fail to see how bashing Disney movies is relevant to ice planet neglect but I'm interested in how this can be related. Preferably using wild theories and plenty of tinfoil if at all possible
