@Swjosdotschka Zoopedia just tells you which animals get an enrichment bonus if they are combined. You can combine also a lot of the other animals. If they are not carnivores, they will be fine.
Just curious. What did you try or see so far?

Everything besides carnivores can be combined.Just curious. What did you try or see so far?
To me this sounds just like a horrible Idea. I think when the Bisons have Offspring at least one Wolf gets killed, even if they don't try to hunt them. I think Bisons are way too protective if the Herd has a Calf.one place in America has mixed wolves with American bison
I've tried to have a Enclosure with Hippos and Indian Rhinoceros but the Hippo couldn't be for a long Time in the Enclosure because it was too aggressive and a Danger to the other AnimalsEverything besides carnivores can be combined.

i cant remember exactly, but i think they needed 8000 sqm habitat for 4 female/ 1 male already ^^. half of the size had to be water ^^ btw: you can use the liftet pathways as shelters, if they are high and wide enough.I think Hippos may be one of those animals that need to be alone. I plan on having a large hippo habitat and breeding many for trading.
above all its just very boring to mix the samelooking slow animals, that are doing nothing and favour completely different plants. The hippo habitat I have planned is very large and about half of it is water. There will also be an underwater viewing area.
I know we can mix some different species together but what about the Aldabra Tortoise and the Galapogose Tortoise? Can they be combined into one tortoise habitat without fear of them cross breeding? Is this a case of apples and oranges or Granny Smiths and Red Delicious?
Orangs are messy eaters and won't always eat their food from the ground. The otters kind of clean up after the apes.
I had a female African Elephant in my Herd of Indian Elephants. There were no Problems except that they don't enrich each other and more African Elephants would've been needed to make her happy and that was the Reason why I sold her to another Park where she hopefully lived with other African Elephants. Maybe they change this a bit in the finished Game.African/Indian elephants living in the same exhibit (very popular method for housing elephants for those zoos who keep both species. Notable example is San Diego)
No, hopefully not.For me, it sounds like in principle you can combine any herbivores you like - the zoopedia list for mixed habitats only lists the species that PROFIT from having each other in the enclosure.
my view is zoopedia has animals that share being mutually beneficial to other. I read this as if they are put together then we give each other a small bonus. to me that does not preclude a potential they could live together if you can get the habitats right. BUT if you have a shy antelope will it get on with a vibrant peafowl? (also you miss out on people walking through the peafowl)
I think they could live together but not sure they will live together. We know some animals will live together because they are beneficial to each other. we don know any other will but they might
