Small Seismic Charges

There really isnt any good reason to not have them. If core mining for newbs is a concern, the adder can be bought in about 20 minutes of playing, so thars not why. It would really benefit the dolphin, sidewinder (which should be able to do everything, if badly) and hauler.

If you can think of any good reason NOT to have small seismic charges, id like to know what they are.

Because the Beluga doesn't need them?

Because it is a waste of time, a nit pick, a silly nonsense request that nobody in their right mind would ever even care about.
He'll take 20!

Me, I'd be happy to replace the top and bottom small HP on my Type-7 with one medium HP (top center), though if I were really greedy, I'd keep the small bottom one and add a second to that empty spot. Either way, that medium HP would make my beloved T7 a lovely mining vessel.

Honestly, this applies to all hardpoint related modules.
Create all weapons/tools for all sizes.

This would likely disrupt your gameplay way more than if small seismic charges were made available.

Oh, no - dont get me wrong. Small seismic charges would be quite useful.
Not necessarily for Dolphin or Hauler, but for T6 and T7

And i would also want an extra size 7 internal for T10, an extra size 5 internal for Clipper and also the posibility to equip a SLF, gimbaled ax mc including small version, engineering for mining weaps/tools and... oh well... that won't happen since they're focusing almost exclusively on bug fixing

If it's that easy then just go get the adder. This only benefits the few bored nutjobs who insist on doing this with a sidewinder.

Not really value added for the masses.

With how fast it is to get a Cobra MKIII I don't think seismic charges need to be changed. Even if they are a Newb and we also have Other Options on mining. Like Mining lasers.

There may be no good reason not to have them.
I fail to see any good reason to have them.
OH. Except for the I want syndrome.

I'll take 2 huge, long range, plasma slug railguns please

Sure, why not, if you overcharged your powerplant and can run those babies emptying your cap dry
in a single shot. If heat again becomes a tactical threat (not speaking of old cooking meta) that'd be fine.
The gun would have downsides built in.

I think it would be nice. It would allow people to get their feet wet with a limited small launcher. It's not like a small ship can mine very effectively anyway, but this way someone could start as a miner early if they wanted to, as soon as they got the money for a scanner, launcher, abrasion, refinery, and cargo rack.
