I nearly bought Jack-o'-lantern

TECs, have been around since the 1990s.

They've actually been defunct since the mid to late 90s (effectively) and since 2001 legally, when they were dissolved and the funding passed to other government bodies. None of which changes what I was doing for a living between 1989 and 1992. I suspect OP wasn't born then which would explain why he has to rely on a quick google before making a complete berk of himself.

You just made a post, in reply to me, where you insinuated that my earlier post was bull and that I would have to be a time traveller to have done what I said in it. Then I pointed out that you were completely wrong. Then you waved it off as 'pedantry'. I mean it's all on the previous page of the thread and happened about 10 minutes ago.

I don't really care one way or the other about the actual topic of this thread. I don't appreciate being called a liar though. I also have better things to do with my time this evening than continue this, so I'll leave you to it now.

Like most things, we can buy in the U.K. Can we return the lantern, within 28 days and get a full refund? Just wondering, it being a seasonal item etc..
That is quite a good thought. There have been posts from people who have gone to Customer Support and had transactions reversed for various reasons so yeah i guess FD has some form of return policy on cosmetics.

Did the guy who bought an Python ship kit and complained on a thread here that he couldn't find the actual ship in game ever got his refund?

I don't mind them earning revenue through cosmetics. Server costs have to be met somehow. I just wish whoever is responsible for tripe like cacti, witch decals, Lost Winds bobbleheads, and a glowing palm tree Cobra skin gets replaced by someone who plays the game and can design theme-appropriate content.

Clearly, Planet Coaster's development slowed down a notch recently, to about 100 Devs, that's about 2.8% Devs that got drafted towards the Elite Paintjobs and Bobbleheads desk.

I'm still vascillating between buying the skull or not...

I like it, have enough Arx etc... Just even at the sale price the Scrooge in the back of my mind is bleating....

I'll probably buy it tomorrow, it does look very nice.... Oh WTH I'll log back in and get one now... :)

I confess I purchased a bobblehead with my free Arx the other day. Yep got the 'old school' Thargoid one for ONE ARX. Then I found out I really don't like bobbleheads, find them distracting and a bit of an annoyance in cockpit and have subsequently removed them from all my ships. I know I could have contacted Customer Support and asked them to reverse the transaction but why should they do that, there is nothing wrong with the bobblehead. The blame is solely on me and I accept it (does this mean I have to leave the forums now because I accepted responsibility of my own actions?)

Who mentioned the Lunar Hunter decal? Grrrr.....

Oh well, the skull bobblehead looks really good... and the decal pops on my black Corvette.... I'll just do the walk of shame then...

The Forums? You ask about the forums, when you should be worried about the interweb as a whole. Please refrain from any activities concerning responsibility. It makes the rest of us look badder.
