So who do you support and why?

P.S
Yes i know how you pronounce Aisling, but here you go..
...still stupidly written and then pronounced name!

Realistically, there's 4 you should bother with.
Aisling Duval when you want to buy Prismatic shields.
Arissa Duval when you want to buy Imperial Hammers
Zachary Hudson when you want to buy Pacifiers
Li Yong Rui when you want to buy Packhounds.

Buy loads of the above when you unlock them. The other modules are only good when you've a really specific build in mind.

When unlocking your modules, wait 3 weeks go another power's control system (making sure you're "hostile") and blow up 25 of the opposition power's ships. Take the merits to one of your powers control systems and cash in. Then wait until the 4th week to unlock your module, buy them and defect to another power for your next module.

Think that covers everything useful (at least until they update this poor neglected area of the game).

Its ironic because Yamiks actually looks like Archon Delaine.

I know its cool to bash Powerplay but there are some great groups who organize the Powers each week. Check them out!

Top 3? Depends on what you want. Module wise there are a number of good ones:

Pranav Antals Enforcer Cannon - beefed up small multi
Archon Delaine - Cytoscrambler - shield killing Frankenlaser that rewards skill and experimentation
Hudson - Pacifier frags - like frags, only focussed into a tight cone of death
Aisling - Prismatics - shields that act as if they have a shield booster (and green)
Grom - Containment missile - good for keeping someone from escaping
Arissa - Hammers - OKish rail burst weapon, all three have to hit to be better than one rail and heat issues
LYR - Packhounds - good for damaging external modules, but not much else
Patreus - APA - rapid fire PA, classically paired with TLB in the past, but now is a bit redundant.
Mahon - Retributor - small laser that 'cooks' ships, i.e. pointless
Torval - Mining lance - a mining laser thats like a small beam weapon. OKish, but can't be engineered.
Winters - Pulse disruptor - causes module malfunctions (if modules hit although I could be wrong, I've been told its different to the experimental effect Scamble Spectrum)

Some Powers have fun bonuses as well. Double bounty payouts, no bounties, BGS effects.

With some love FD could make something of Powerplay after ignoring it for so long.

As you can see, I support Archon Delaine, because his bonuses are fun, has a rare commodity (Silver Sea Rum) at his capital, has a good module and his Discord is cool.

Video link doesn't work.
Not going to watch a video for some bit of information that could simply be posted.
I support...

Myself?

I work for whomever offers me whatever modules I happen to want.
Beyond that, space politics isn't a game, it isn't playable. It's not even a joke.

It's completely pointless.

I think LYR has the most organized playerbase. But I fly for Mahon and the alliance currently because i am an insufferable libertarian

Aside from Grom and Torval (who both are a bit wobbly at the minute) most, if not all Powers have highly organised groups supporting them.
