Is there a way to watch your ship land ?

Hello Moderators and Pilots
I have been away for a while so I'm just catching up on things. Is there a different camera view to look at your ships from the exterior?
It would be cool to watch our ships dock at stations and even just see them from the outside.

Just want to say Elite Dangerous has grown and it's new features and updates are amazing. This is the best pc space game I Have
ever played. Thanks for a Great Experience Bryan

I guess it should also be mentioned that using free camera mode is how folks get all those great screenshot pictures shared here on the forums, not to mention the tons of video produced found on YouTube and elsewhere!

If you're in an SRV just order the ship to depart, then call it back. Takeoff and landing from a seat on the ground.

yeah use a docking computer and go into the external camera... or (as long as your bindings are set up) just fly in the external camera once you have requested docking

All flown in external cam; (canyons / srv stuff / planets / black holes etc.)

and landing in external cam; (no docking computer)
