Apparently if one wants any Neofabric Insulation, one has to get them from a mega-ship. Just watched a video that showed a Cmdr getting them from a wrecked mega-ship and he wasn't attacked. My question is, do I need conventional collection limpets controller in addition to a hatch breaker controller or just the hatch breaker? It's a long drive and though cr's are not an issue, I'd just like to bring the minimum.

You don't need collectors just manual scoop.
I've been doing mission's of all types for an excess of two years and have never ever gotten any Neofabric Insulation materials. Apparently they are rewards for mission's that I've for what ever reason haven't done yet, such as hatch breaking wrecked mega-ships. Which I'm gearing up to do tomorrow, hence my question, which collector do I bring.

Either use limpets or my personal favorite imperial slaves armed with a few duct taped fire extinguishers.
