First when the game loaded and I was at the menu, I already noticed you guyz messed up. There was this weekly challenge which asked me to breed : {count} bengal tigers.

{count} ... ? seriously ? You are launching a game and the first thing we see is right into our eyes, it's not finished.

Ok.. let's start playing to see how that goes.. opening a new franchise, new zoo, building first stuff.. and discovering in a few minutes that I can't buy any animal !
Why ? well, I can't select them .. can't even click on filters.
Guess what ... since your implementation of windowed mode was crappy and I already talked about it here, I knew this was the culprit.. I went to fullscreen and BOOOM .. I could select animals and filters.. Back to windowed mode.. BOOOOom .. Can't click

ARE YOU SERIOUS ???
Take one or two more months if you need but provide a proper release.

Will you be refunding your purchase given your extreme disappointment at the day 1 release?

This is actually not true and a bit unfair.
I didn’t have much time to play yesterday, but I immediately recognized two changes that were based on beta feed-back: the animal highlight isn’t the blue coloring any more but just a while outline. And wolves got their habitat needs tweaked (mainly coverage range and need for snow).

This may seem to be minor changes in your eyes, but I am grateful for them. And they (and probably others I didn’t spot so far) are easier to “fix” than other issues that might have complicated reasons and need some more code analysis. @Red Anders is a voice of reason here, as usual. (Hello in Planet Zoo, man! Good to see you here! )

I dont understand what everyone's problem is and why people are being so rude. The game is amazing. I dumped 17 hours in today and will be putting more in after work tomorrow. The only issues I ran into were my keepers not feeding (fixed by moving the habitat gates), and the having to click adopt a million times in trade center to get something, which I assume comes from the server traffic. Its day one, theres always bumps. Just have fun!

Agreed… Some changes were implemented.. When you train your staff , it automatically raises their salary.
Filters have been improved.
When you switch screens, your search is (temp) saved.
Some bugs/issues weren't fixed… I expect a patch for a few bugs in the first days (like almost every game)

When people say nothing has changed, is most likely translated with 'I gave feedback and my issue wasn't fixed'

The top issues and concerns all still remain, and many of the bugs as well.

Plus new issues like the server refusing to make more than 1 franchise zoo for me at least.
Edit: Also the little detail of the game icon still being blurry from the beta. Unless that's just me. But still. I'm reinstalling my game and we'll see if that accomplishes anything. I'll be able to check on it after noon.

Reinstalling the game fixed the icon but I still can't open another franchise zoo. Guess it's offline for me (only for now hopefully).

I would like to have sharp icon, but I am not sure if I am ready for another hour-long download. (Yes, I know ... my internet speed leaves a lot to be desired.)

Not that I know of.
After reinstalling it looks like this now:

I'm in the same boat as you tbh, but I just uninstalled it and started the download before I went to college so it would be done by the time I was back. I don't think an icon on its own is worth an entire reinstall but I was hoping it would fix my franchise issue. But it didn't.
