How to move boxed animals?

I have a baby wolf that somehow got out of its enclosure (Still don't know how, walls were at 50%+ durability and nothing else escaped.) I had it boxed to be returned immediately to its pen.

Unfortunately, none of the staff are grabbing it? Now it's sick and I'm getting alerts it's been boxed too long. I don't know what to do. Help?

If you click on it, you can select 'unbox animal' and let it out. Since the box is in its pen, that should be a reasonable course of action.

Actually the box is outside of its pen, it was an escapee. Unbox Animal is grayed out.

Ah - I misunderstood this:

In that case, I'd click 'move' and select the destination you want. Is that option also greyed out?

I did yes, the problem was no Staff were responding. I even moved Caretakers and Vets right next to the box and they simply walked away despite it saying it was in progress of being moved.

It's now FINALLY been picked up, I found a staff member that teleported a mile away from the zoo and disappeared underground. Moved her back and she picked it up.

...That and half my staff somehow got stuck in place outside of the Tiger exhibit door.

Pathing issues in this game are legion I'm realizing.

NOW there is an Elderly Puppy Wolf that doesn't exist forever taking up my Vet building.

I don't even know what's going on anymore...

Aaand now I deleted that Vet building, which has launched the Vet outside with my sick male adult wolf a huge distance away underground, unable to be moved because of holding the boxed wolf,

...Here I was thinking the game's bugs were fixed good lord this is a trip and a half.

Probably died while in the vet, breaking the vet. This happened in beta as well.

Actually no. She got returned to her exhibit. However there was an elderly copy of her stuck in the vet? I deleted it and replaced it with a new vet building and that got rid of the copy.

The girl who got teleported underground with my adult wolf was teleported back to the entrance, treated the wolf and now all's good. So this story has a happy ending.

I just wish my staff would stop Instant-Transmissioning underground everywhere with my animals.
