Currently going back to basics to learn combat and bloody hell I forgot how stupid good this thing was.

Is it just me or is this a good ship to learn deeper flight mechanics in?

Running fixed laser and multis no problem lel.

I put a fixed beam and a rail on the bottom and a frag cannon on top.

I have never got on with the Eagle, that said, I have never flown the Imp one.

I love the Imp Courier. Yes a massive difference in price, thus re-buys, but a lot of fun.

Honestly, I reckon the Eagle is too twitchy to be good for learning about fixed weapons.
Viper is a better choice (IMO) cos it flies quite a bit smoother.

I prefer the Imperial model myself, but yes, it is a decent small ship.

It is. Also, it's one of the best ships you can pick to learn combat flying, too. Sure, it has limited defense, you will loose a few ships while learning, but the rebuy is cheap and it forces you to learn your defensive flying.
