Franchise internal error

So for quite so time today I constantly keep getting alerts "franchise mode internal error, could not connect" combined with "you are offline". When I restart PlanetZoo its fine for a while, but then it starts again.
I use a wired connection and checked the stability, had no issues there.
Does anyone else have the same problem?

Same here, I can't get online ingame, while my internet is up and running (youtube builders video's on the other screen). Maybe the servers are having some hickups.

I've had it a couple of times today - normally reconnects. I suspect the servers may be getting hit hard by everyone trying Franchise mode. Should settle down as people drift into offline modes or decide the game isn't for them.

But it can be expected when there is a community challenge to have to deal with more franchise connections, so it's worrying if the servers can take it... How will we ever complete the challenge if the servers are constantly overloaded?

Same here, constant server disconnects but there's nothing wrong with my internet, game has been working fine up until the last hour or so.

Yep.. Same here.

People can make all the excuses for bad server management they want, if you're going to force players to be online to play and not have a fail-safe built in in case the servers go down, they deserve the criticism they're going to get. The bottom line is that if you are in Franchise mode and the servers go down, you cannot play. You can't even transfer your Franchise Zoo to Challenge to play offline. You are booted out.

For Shame Frontier, For Shame.

I don't want to just jump in and say "me too" but when it happened to me a little while ago I tried to save and exit the game and it locked up the computer. Had to use windows task manager to close it. Ok, maybe locked up isn't the right term, it froze at a black screen.

Worst part that disconnection actually triggered a bug for me.

With 4 giant galapagos tortoises, which just hit mature age. I just sent them to the trade centre to sell them..
Disconnected and after logging back in : their ages are resetted to 0.0 years old :(

I know it is bitter for you, but maybe see the the wonderful side on this matter for the happy little tortoises.

Haha, it's not the end of the world.. But tortoises take a while to mature..
Was a bit prepared for a new group of baby tortoises, just need to adjust the size of the exhibit.

Surpisingly, atm they are really valuable on the market.. Especially bronze/silver/gold..

The game's been running pretty well for me for most of the day (though I do have to use Task Manager to force quit the game after the first time I run it as it freezes up - only on the second attempt at running the game does it not freeze) but this evening it's been really bad. Every few minutes I get the same franchise error

I'm not 100% sure it's connected but I had a internal error report pop up. My game continued playing fine but then I noticed all of my Komodo Dragons had disappeared. I found one in my trading centre so I tried to put it back into his habitat and then my game crashed.
